Frequently asked questions
How do you count pages to be translated?
A standard page of text typically contains around 250 to 300 words. For translation purposes, that’s a common estimate used in the industry.
As a courtesy to our clients we offer quotes based on 300 words as a standard page.
The word count generally refers to the source text. When translating, the target text (the translated version) might end up being slightly longer or shorter depending on the language and the complexity of the content. For example, some languages are more verbose or concise than others, which can affect the final word count.
For example, a document with 900 words would be priced as three pages. We divide 900 words by 300 words to arrive at the three-page count.

What is a certified translation?
A certified translation is a word-for-word human translation of your documents by a professional translator. It includes an Accelerated Certified Translations LLC letterhead that contains a signed and stamped certificate of translation accuracy for official use purposes required by the USCIS (US Immigration), as well as universities, courts, and many other local and state-related governments.
What is a standard translation?
A standard translation is a human translation that interprets and localizes content for personal and business use. Choose this option for all other purposes like marketing, website, and book translations where certification is not necessary.
